How can I publish a profile at Dance Database (personal or as an institution) or inform users about an event I organise?
Click the pink button “Create a profile” in the top right corner of the home page and then select the relevant category for your registration from the displayed list. Upon selection you will be taken to a simple registration form – please fill it in and confirm registration. To add an event, click the “Create an event” or "Opportunity" in the top right corner of the home page and fill in the form.
How can I edit my profile or event?
Look up the entry you created and click “Edit profile / event" in the top right corner. A button reading: "Enable editing via email” will appear. Upon agreeing, we will send a one-time email link enabling you to update your profile or event. This will be sent to the email address in your profile.
How much does it cost to publish my profile / event at Dance database webpage?
Nothing! The database is here for you completely for free. Running the portal is, however, not completely cost-free for us. We would appreciate your help in promotion by adding our logo to your website or other promotional material. Download our logo HERE.
Why do I need to give my email address when registering?
When you enter a record, you only need to fill in your email to access the record editing, but it will not be published in your profile. When you wish to update your profile, we will send you a one-time link to this email address to edit your information.
If you want to publish your email in your profile, please also fill it in another relevant field of the form.
Can I register into multiple categories?
Yes, providing that you are registering different profiles or events with different names (as in registering your company into the “Companies” category and your personal profile into the “People” category).
However, you can register only once under the same name. Therefore, please choose the category that fits your entry the best.
How can I promote my profile or event further?
We can help you to promote your profile/event through a paid banner, link or sharing on our social networks: Facebook and Twitter. We also offer advertising packages at discounted prices. Look into the “Cooperation” section or write to us at info@databazetance.cz.
How is my personal data processed and protected in the Dance Database?
We handle your data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data ("GDPR"). You can read our policy HERE.
Can I remove my profile from the Dance Database?
Yes. Just click on the "Edit" button in the top right corner of your profile. A button will appear that says "Send Edit Access." Once you click on it, we will send you a one-time link to the email you provided with your entry where you can update your profile or remove it from the Dance Database altogether.
